Cheryl Saum joins Apex Health Innovations with over fifteen years of academic advising and academic management experience. Most recently, Cheryl has worked as the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Learning Resource Center at Cal State Channel Islands, managing the overall operations of the tutoring center to include hiring, training, budgeting, marketing, planning, procurement and day-to-day management of over 30 students employees. Cheryl’s prior position at UC Santa Barbara included the advisement and budget management for two diverse graduate departments and was responsible for application review, student advising and employment, recruitment planning, and scholarship and grant budget management of more than $500,000. She is detail oriented, outgoing, and approachable. In her free time, Cheryl is busy with her two baseball playing sons and loves to hike, workout and spend time with friends.
